Hi, Thank you for taking the time to read my review of Bodyweight Exercise Revolution. As a thank you from me at the end of the review is a free gift. Bodyweight FUN-damentals, a free training guide using Circular Strength Training Techniques, the very same that this program is based on – enjoy.

The Bodyweight Exercise Revolution as the name implies, concentrates on exercises and routines that only incorporate using your own bodyweight as resistance. This means the main attractions of this way of training is that you don’t need to buy any expensive equipment to train, you don’t need to buy a membership to an expensive health club and you can train at anytime and anywhere.

The Bodyweight Workout

The Bodyweight Exercise Revolution by Adam Steer and Ryan Murdock. Adam Steer is a personal coach who specialises in training downhill skiers and uses bodyweight exercises as his primary training methods. Ryan Murdock, himself an explorer and trainer who specialises in training rock stars and people who travel or spend long periods on the road.

Based on Scott Sonnon’s Circular Strength Training® system incorporating the 4×7 formula. This 4×7 formula is a method of training, which forces you to incorporate rests and stretching exercises into your routine. Something a lot of people, including myself, are guilty of neglecting – or at best adding some ineffective or down-right dangerous stretching exercises in at the end, for a couple of minutes to make your self feel better.

So each training routine goes something like this:

Each training routine lasts for 28 days broken down into 7 x 4 day intervals.

  • Day 1 – No exercise just joint mobility.
  • Day 2 – Light exercise stretching.
  • Day 3 – Moderate Rate Exercise.
  • Day 4 – High Rate Exercise.

Within the program you will receive videos of the training, joint mobility, stretching – which is Prasara Yoga, and the workout routines. These are also described in the book in photographs and text.

There are several training routines, which are dependant on your goal. So, dependant on what you want to achieve, such as fat loss, strength, muscle gaining, or longevity there is a routine set up. Each routine has different levels from beginner to advanced, so no matter what your level of fitness right now there is somewhere for you to start.

Once you have this Bodyweight Workout Routine, with all the different routines, all the variations and levels of difficulty, you have years of training at your fingertips. Remember all you need is this program, nothing else.

So, do I recommend this program – most definitely.

This program is perfect for all levels of fitness, men or women, old or young, for people who travel a lot, or for those who do not have access to health clubs.

This program is complete in itself, but can be fitted into a program that you are already using. The bonus section of the book describes how to do this and gives you various routines to try.

So, that’s it, a complete program, everything you need to start training and to achieve the physique you want. The Bodyweight Exercise Revolution I thoroughly  recommend it.
